How to Prevent a Divorce

For the next few articles, we’re doing a series on How to Prevent a Divorce. Contained in this series are some really crucial and fundamental precepts. Get familiar with these if you truly, really, genuinely wish to win back the one you love and save your marriage!

To Do and Not To Do

There are three main precepts, the first being that humans only wants what they don’t actually have. The second is that humans will baulk at matters which command or confine them. And finally, almost all humans love themselves to a higher degree than anything else.

In the first place, you have to learn and remember the above really crucial precepts regarding mortal nature. To one degree or another, these precepts apply to everybody, including you and I!

Most Importantly

It is vital to learn to control yourself. The following types of behaviour are going to ruin it if you want to save your marriage. You must not do any of them if you earnestly wish to recover your mate or save your marriage. Most importantly, don’t show that you’re starving for your spouse’s or mate’s presence. Better still, learn NOT to starve for your spouse’s or mate’s presence so that you don’t have to hide the fact that you feel this way.

Regardless how much you wish your mate or your spouse to remain by your side or to be back with you, you have to learn to control yourself. More starving and hanging on will only make that individual feel pressured and more fed up with seeing you. It will drive them away from wanting to make up with you.

Lose the Need

Rather, cultivate the mental attitude, habit and conduct such that you don’t require that individual to be around for your happiness or pleasure. You truly don’t require someone else’s presence or approval to receive happiness and peacefulness. You’re not needy and insecure.

If you learn how to cultivate this sort of mental attitude and habit, you’ll discover that your mate will be the one who will become frightened. They’ll become frightened of losing you!

Think of this: human beings tend to want what they don’t actually have.

I have written a good article on how to achieve this over at my other website. Click here to be taken there.

Get Your Own Competitor

If your mate or spouse is seeing somebody other than you, don’t stop them from seeing other people. Instead, find a competitor of your own. Here’s what you have to do. Don’t stop your mate from seeing others. But if you sound off, and whine, and nag about them seeing someone else, you will drive them directing into the other guy or girl’s arms. The more that you become needy and insecure, the more that your mate or spouse will be pushed towards the one who isn’t you.

Don’t Nag

How come? Because your mate or spouse can’t stand you nagging them! If you attempt to stop them from having something that they desire, they’ll desire it so much more. Humans tend to desire what they don’t actually have. So, if you do anything to stop them seeing someone else, they’ll want to be with that individual even more. To them, it’ll be a great challenge if you attempt to stop them.

If they ever win that individual, they’ll feel triumphant about it. And guess what? You’re the one challenging them that they won’t have what they desire, so they will try to prove you wrong. Remember, battling to get back the one you love almost guarantees your failure.

Allow Full Freedom

So, what you have got to do is to provide them freedom of choice. Let them feel that you’re the better individual to be around than your competition because you respect their freedom and their options. Don’t restrict your mate or your spouse. Human beings tend to baulk at things or individuals who command or confine them.

Respect your mate’s decisions or wishes to do whatsoever he or she wishes to do during a specific day or during a specific time.

If he/she wishes to go out with someone else today, leave them to go and do it. If he or she doesn’t wish to see you today, let them go. The more you don’t give them your attention, guess what? They’ll want your attention on them once again. The longer that you don’t give them your attention, the more urgently they’ll want it back.

The more that you put your attention on their every move, the more they’ll feel that you wish to command them, control them and restrict them. Thus, the result will always be that they’ll baulk at it, they’ll battle back, they’ll resist you. Trying to limit them will just hurt the relationship between the two of you.

Learn to control your emotions. Stand up straight emotionally. Go to my other article and thoroughly read it in order to reinforce what I’ve just said. Click here.
