Take Action

The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. This is the wisdom of Lao Tzu, the Chinese sage who wrote the Tao Te Ching. His name means ”old master”, which is rather appropriate considering the wisdom of his writings.

If you find yourself in an abusive relationship, or a situation where you are not being honoured, then begin with the smallest of steps to get yourself out of that situation.  It may seem like it’s an impossible mission to accomplish, however, if you don’t take action then nothing will ever be achieved.

Why argue? This is a topic I know a lot about. I watched my mother and father argue about anything and everything, often with my father turning violent when they did. It seemed to be the only way that they knew how to communicate at times. Unfortunately, growing up in that household taught me to do the same thing myself. It was onlyWhy argue? I watched my mother and father argue about anything and everything, often with my father turning violent when they did. when I became aware of what I was doing and the reasons why I was doing it that I was able to make a conscious effort to change. It’s a challenging process to go from finding energy outside of you to bringing it forth from within, however it can in fact be done.
