Spiritual Disciplines

The following set of guidelines can be found in Stuart Wilde’s book The Art of Redemption. All that I have done here is to list them so that you will be able to follow them quite easily. In a blog-post yet to come, I may quote various paragraphs from Stuart’s books so that you can read for yourself the wisdom of his words.

What to Do

Rise at Dawn (dawn is around 6am)
24 minutes of sanctuary time:
Affirmations
Meditation – use either the Theta or Delta metronome tape.
Silent Introspection
Protection Ritual – play the Gayatri Mantra or the Avalon Protection Prayers.

Play Stuart’s Gayatri Mantra video clip so that you clear the atmosphere around you of the various dark energies that may be hovering around.  Here is the link to the recording:  Gayatri Mantra

Go for a walk for an hour if you can fit in the time to do so. If not, then at a later stage in the day, try to fit in at least a 20 minute walk. An hour would be better, but time limits apply in some people’s lives.

Shower, then place lavender oil on the various chakra points that Stuart recommends. These are the crown chakra, the third eye chakra, the throat chakra and the heart chakra. You may also want to put some on your wrists too.

Tidy the area around you if you have time to do so before you leave for work. Clutter makes things difficult for you to consolidate your energy.
